Ball Peen Hammer

This dream is a little disturbing to me. I am repeatedly ambushed by a skinny nerdy looking man in a plaid shirt. He looks very much like Billy Bob Thorton's character from the 1996 movie "Sling blade". This time his murder weapon of choice is a ball peen hammer and not a sling blade. I get bashed in the head with his hammer each time. I think there were three attacks and three blows to the head. That was it. I wake up.

What does this dream tell me? I think I need to avoid going anywhere near any nerdy guys with hammers! Why am I dreaming this? I don't know. I do know my sleep has been fitful lately. I do tend to wake up abruptly with a headache. I have gotten away from using my CPAP machine. I suspect this dream is a warning sign to look after my health. I am quite sure the nerdy guy will be some CPAP tech giving me a harsh time for not using my machine.

I have not been dreaming as much as I usually do. It must stem out of a lack of quality sleep. I am quite certain. I hate using my CPAP. The damn thing needs constant maintenance. It requires daily cleaning. It is a pain in my butt. I do benefit greatly from using it and I will live longer if I do. I know that.

I had a nurse fiddle with the damn machine once and now it won't shut off automatically when I take the mask off. It is a damn inconvenience when I have to wake up to take a phone call. I get no sympathy. Everyone thinks I am dissing them by letting the phone ring so long or not answering it at all. SIGH!!!

I suppose I am just going to need have to suck it up and use my machine on a regular basis. Maybe next time I can have a dream where I get to bash in the head of my tormenter instead of being the one getting the bashing? That's all I want to say about that.
