The Train Station Classroom, Bikes and Doves

The dream this morning takes place at a railroad station. It is a beautiful sunny day. There is a classroom on the upper floor looking out over the railroad tracks. The class room is full of young grade school students. There are about 30 of them and a teacher. It seems like a very odd place to locate a classroom, but who am I to judge? I see book shelves full of folders with the children's writing assignments. I pick up a folder and I thumb through the pages looking for some blank pages that I can use to write on. I feel like I want to write a journal about what I am experiencing while I am in this location.

I can not find any blank paper to write on or anything to write with. Suddenly my attention is drawn to look out the window to the train tracks below. Strangely I can see a mass of bicycle riders race down the tracks toward the train station! It looks like a Tour de France bike race coming at me.



My vision is then instantly diverted to two white doves flying ahead of the racers. On the rail platform is an open wooden box up in the rafters. The two white doves fly directly to the box, settle in, and begin to mate. This is when I wake up.

The dominate dream symbols: 1.) The train station/class room with the desire to write. 2.) The bike race. 3. The white doves. The train station/classroom indicates a place of both learning and travel. There is a desire to both begin a journey and begin a journal. The two go hand in hand.

The bicycle race suggests a contest that is coming to me that is totally unexpected. A train is not coming. The mode of transport is not what one would conventionally expect. It makes no sense logically. The train tracks are a dangerous and what are these racers thinking? Have they been detoured down a wrong path? Man this seems weird!

The two white doves filled me with hope and joy! Doves mate for life. My wife and I are trying to conceive a child.
