Peppered with Polygonals

The dream this time is a rather odd one even for me. Above here you will see a rendering of one of the objects I saw in this dream. First, before getting deep into explanations of the imagery there are some other aspects of the dream we need to address.

I seem to have had some telepathic messages as a preamble to this dream. I could hear the voice of my dear friend Helen. She channels messages from extra terrestrials beings. She gave me a message and was quite excited to share it with me and I, sadly, cannot remember much of it, and after consulting with the real life Helen. She has no definite memory of sending one my way. All I can say about it is that it seems I should be looking to the skies for an upcoming important celestial event.  

The second message came directly from some alien race. The only line I can clearly remember is: "We are 7 to 13 days in deep space heading your way. Prepare for our arrival." The rest of the message seems to have evaporated from my conscious memory. The next thing I remember is seeing and receiving an unusual looking download of data in the form of six sided hexagon shaped plates. The plates materialize into view and look like the image above. They are covered in symbols and occasionally letters. The plates descend down a shaft through what look like transparent membranes. Ripples are created, like a stone cast into a pond, as the plates fall through and break each membrane and they disappear from view to be replaced by yet another. The symbols look like some kind of strange alien language of some sort. One sentence in English did appear and I can only recall one word from it: "try". I know the reader at this point might be frustrated by all the vague mysteriousness of all this. Well, frankly, I am too. I'm left to wonder if the aliens wanted me to recall only a few details or if their actual intent was for me to not remember anything at all.

I have experienced similar dream downloads from the space brothers before. Typically, it is either just deep conversations with these guys, that I can't remember, or it is streams of data scrolling across my field of view. Is it a software upgrade or is it information being stored into my subconscious for later retrieval? I have no idea!  All I do know is that this whole thing is rather bizarre! One little, possibly relevant, detail that rises from my mind comes from the movie "Contact", starring Jodi Foster, who plays an astronomer who receives a coded radio message from extra terrestrials. The message depicted in the film is discovered to be in a 3D format like some weird origami figure. When the sides are all connected it reveals plans for building a space/time traveling machine!

My knowledge of geometry is limited and my ability at math sucks. They should have picked someone a whole lot smarter to communicate with. If there is an advance race of aliens on a UFO headed our way it would be logical that they would use telepathy to establish communication ahead of their arrival. Any other method of contact would run into problems of delay due to the vast distances involved. The telepathic route would be practical, instantaneous and in real time. The another consideration is what is the agenda of these aliens? Who are they? Where are they from and what do they intend to do when they get here? Well, maybe we'll all find out in the coming weeks, on the other hand, this could just all be a part of my delusional subconscious or a manifestation of my freakin' imagination. We shall see.
